Tuckwell Tyres was set up in 2021 as a natural extension of a long-established agricultural contracting business based near Milton Keynes. We saw a clear gap in the local market for a reliable 24 hour mobile tyre service that understands farms, fleets and real-world working hours.
Instead of relying on external tyre companies and waiting for whoever shows up, we invested in our own tyre service to support our machinery and our customers. That quickly grew into a dedicated mobile tyre operation covering cars, vans, trucks, trailers, buses, horseboxes, agricultural machinery, plant and crane tyres across Milton Keynes and the surrounding area.
Why we built our own tyre service
Running contracting work and looking after busy fleets meant we experienced the pain of tyre problems first hand: long response times, poor communication, wrong tyres arriving and breakdowns that could have been prevented with simple checks. Tuckwell Tyres was created to fix those issues.
